This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Road to Treble (the “App”), published by YT Lab (“we”, “us”), handles information. The App has no sign-up, no password and no email address: you never tell us who you are. It does have online leaderboards, so some game data does leave your device. This page says exactly what, and when.
1. What stays on your device
Your saved game — squads, album stickers, career progress, trophies, settings and chosen language — is stored on your own device. We do not upload your save, and deleting the App deletes it.
1b. What is sent to our servers, and only for the leaderboards
The App uses Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore) to run its leaderboards. The first time it runs it signs in anonymously: Firebase issues a random identifier for your installation. It is not linked to your Apple ID, Google account, email address or phone number, and we cannot use it to identify you. Alongside it we store the nickname you choose, the country shown on your profile, and the scores, trophy counts and career results of finished runs — plus any line-up you choose to pin to your profile. Anything you put in your nickname becomes public, so please do not put personal information in it. The App also uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports (device model, operating system version and the technical stack trace) and Firebase Remote Config for settings; neither carries your save or your nickname. Usage statistics go to Google Analytics for Firebase, described in section 1c.
1c. Usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
To improve the App, it uses Google Analytics for Firebase (Google LLC) to produce aggregate usage statistics.
- What is collected — app usage events (screens viewed, progress such as a run starting and finishing), the app instance ID (a random identifier generated by the SDK), device model, OS version, app version, language, approximate location (country/region derived from the IP address — the IP address itself is not stored by Google Analytics), and session duration.
- Purpose — aggregate statistics such as retention and drop-off points, used only to improve the App. It is not used to identify individuals and is never sold.
- Retention — per the Google Analytics retention settings, event data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted.

2. Advertising
The App shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and use certain data, such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, and general usage/interaction data. This is controlled by Google, not by us.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we show a Google-certified consent (UMP) prompt before personalised ads are used.
- On iOS we show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt; ads respect your choice.
- You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings at any time.

3. What we do NOT do
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number or precise location.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not ask you to create an account or sign in.
4. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided data through the ad networks, contact us and we will help address it.
5. Your choices & rights
Depending on your region (for example GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete data held about you. You can change your nickname in the App at any time. To have your leaderboard entry and its anonymous identifier deleted from our servers, email us at the address below with the nickname and country shown on your profile and we will remove it. You can withdraw advertising consent via your device settings, reset your advertising ID, or stop using the App; requests about advertising data are directed to Google AdMob.
6. Data retention & security
On-device game data remains until you reset progress in the App or uninstall it. Leaderboard entries are kept while the App is published, except that weekly and monthly boards roll over on their own schedule. Data in transit is encrypted, and access to the leaderboard database is restricted by server-side security rules. Google Analytics event data is deleted after at most 14 months. Advertising data retention is governed by Google’s policies.
7. Legal note on game content
Road to Treble uses real player names and factual statistics only. Clubs are shown as generic aliases. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any club, league, or competition.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
